To Our WBC Family,

It is hard to believe that Haleigh and I were called to this church two years ago. Personally, I reflect upon all the things that have happened in that time. I think of the personal growth we have experienced as well as the changes that have occurred in our lives. First of all, the growth of our family— It is crazy to think that we came to Woodville as newly weds and will be leaving now with our beautiful, almost one year old, Edith Grace. We also think of how in many ways, these last two years we have learned a lot about how God provides and how God works when we might not think he is working at all.

As we continue on, following after God’s will, we also think about the people of this church and how we have gotten to know and love them. There have been wonderful meals shared together and time living life together. So, as God leads Haleigh, Edith Grace, and me away from Woodville Baptist to other ministry callings and locations, we want you to know our heart. Our heart is that we will keep this time of ministry in Woodville near and dear to us. We pray God’s direction and will as the church looks to find a Pastor to lead the church and for those who will come after Haleigh and me to lead the Music and Youth ministries. We pray God’s blessings upon the Woodville community and that He will lead you as you minister to others.

Our Deepest Love,

Pastor Matthew, Haleigh, and Edith Grace Beisel

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I want to begin by thanking everyone who was involved in this past year’s Christmas Program! The program was a wonderful success, and I am so proud of both our adult and children’s choirs! Thank you to the hospitality committee for helping with the reception afterwards, and a special thanks to Ms. Jamie as well for her help with the set design! I always get a little sad once Christmas music is over, but I am also filled with excitement of what the New Year may bring! As the new year begins, I will be planning special music for the 2017 year. I would love to see some new names on our special music sign up sheet! Whether you have sung special musics time and time again, or if you have never performed before, we invite everyone who feels so led to serve by offering a special on Sunday mornings! Please see me to sign up for this year! We have a splendid year ahead of us—let us rejoice and be glad in the Lord. Giving Him all the glory in 2017!

Blessings,

Haleigh Beisel

Hello Woodville Family!

Christmastime is here! Christmas is always my favorite time of year. For me though, it isn’t about “getting”… it is about giving! We have so many wonderful opportunities this month to share the love of Christ with others. One of these opportunities is our upcoming Christmas Program! Mark your calendars for December 18th at 6:30pm! This is a program you will not want to miss! With our children and adult choirs coming together, it will be a beautiful and God-honoring presentation. Please feel free to invite friends and family! This is going to be a wonderful community event! Also– bring your favorite dessert to share, and we will enjoy coffee, hot cocoa, and dessert in a time of fellowship following the program!

Blessings,

Haleigh Beisel

Hello Church Family!

Fall is finally in the air, and I could not be more excited! Additionally, Christmas is only 11 or so weeks away! The choir is hard at work on the cantata, and we have a lot of exciting things planned for this year's performance! Please keep your ears out for the announcement of the performance date! Also, do not forget about our new Parent and Children's choir/ discipleship training on Sunday nights at 5pm! It has been a blast so far! Hope to see you all there!
